Journey to the Centre of the thought

The question that makes everyone wonder what they’re doing here: What is Life?

Before we even begin to consider answering that question must first define the prerequisites to life.

Chapter 1:

What is “Here”?

Do we actually know where we are physically? Do we?

Everyone claims that we are on a rock, some say it is flat while some say it is round while some believe in the existence of Hell and Heaven and this is midland. While physicists claim we are indeed on a spherical object called a planet that belongs to a group of planets that revolve around a star which we call ‘Sun.”

Our “Solar System” is one of those planetary systems that revolve around a supermassive blackhole at the centre of our galaxy.

Our galaxy is one of the group of galaxies nearby making a “Local Group.”

Many such “Local Groups” make up the observable Universe.

Do you realize every bit of our problems we try to ignore and, every second of time we spend on things that don’t matter and every regret we shall make in the future is nothing compared to the grand scheme of things of order in the Universe?

We take a lot of pride in “Life” so much so that we once called ourselves the only and centre of all life and do we still know what “Here” is?

We know we exist in one place, unlike quantum particles that have a fascinating feature to be in two places at once. We exist in a state of egocentric thoughts.

We exist in the belief of the lie and the denial of the truth.

We exist in the greater reality of an illusion that we call dreams.

We exist on a rock. We exist on a burning rock. We exist on a burning rock covered with secrets worth digging, mysteries worth unveiling, skies worth soaring, and nights worth wondering.

We exist.

“Here” is an illusion. There is no fixed place of our beloved rock to exist in this frame of continuous rotation, no fixed place for our “Solar System” to stay still, no fixed place for our “Local Group” to keep still.

We exist here as we move on.

Physically.

Mentally.

Not that we can’t go out, but rather much to explore within.

This beloved place we call Earth.
